Sarver, PA (August 3, 2022) Lernerville Speedway opens the month of August with ‘Big Rig Night’ presented by Mike’s Truck Service & Sales as the Homak Penn/Ohio Pro Stock Championship Series powered by Can-Am join the Fab4 Revved Up with Marburger Farm Dairy weekly divisions.

As the Homak Pro Stocks roll into ‘The Action Track’, Hunter Exley leads the overall championship standings by only two points over Jackson Humanic in second. Chris McGuire is only six points behind Humanic in third with Bobby Whitling in fourth and Joshua Seippel rounding out the top-five. Many of Lernerville Speedway’s and other top Pro Stock drivers in the area will be gunning for the $1,000 top prize at the end of the 25-lap finale.

Also, on the card this upcoming Friday are the Peoples Natural Gas Sprints, Precise Racing Products Late Models, and the Diehl Automotive DIRTcar Big Block Modifieds. With only three points nights remaining, point leaders are looking to solidify their stronghold on their point advantages.

A.J. Flick continues to lead the Peoples Sprints championship points after his sixth win of the 2022 season last week. Darin Gallagher in second, 48 points back with Jack Sodeman, Jr., in third. Carl Bowser is fourth, just two points behind Sodeman with Dan Shetler sitting fifth, just one point behind Bowser.

Flinner has a 13 point advantage over Logan Zarin while Levi Yetter sits just 2 points ahead of Alex Ferree who is fifth. Garvin, Zarin, and Yetter are all looking for their first Championship.

Jeremiah Shingledecker used last weeks win to also extend his point lead from nine points to 25 points over Dave Murdick and now, Garrett Krummert who is tied with Murdick. Brian Swartzlander is 38 points back of Shingledecker and only 13 points behind Murdick and Krummert for second. Chas Wolbert is 56 points back in fifth but is still mathematically alive for the championship as well.

The closest points battle is in the Millerstown Pic-A-Part Pro Stocks as Tyler Dietz holds a 14-point lead over Todd Weldon and a 17-point advantage over last weeks winner, Chris Schneider. Brett McDonald is fourth, 64 points back and Joey Zambotti, 70 points back, is fifth. However, with the Homak Pro Stocks in town, this Friday will be ‘show-up’ points only for the Millerstown Pro Stocks.
